Laboring Hands Postpartum Doula Services
A complete Postpartum Doula package includes: - Free initial interview
- Consult Visit to create a "Postpartum Plan" for your family
- Mother the new Mother--first and foremost!
- Care and Support of the new mom, including information on physical and emotional recovery after birth
- Breastfeeding support and resources
- Light housekeeping
- Short errands, such as grocery store, pharmacy, or post office
- Newborn care such as bathing, feeding, diapering and comforting
- Guidance and resources on newborn care
- Baby soothing skills
- Light meal preparation
- Accompanying mom on first outings
- Sibling care
- Education and information on purchasing nursery and baby items
- Referrals for local parenting resources
- Education and instruction on babywearing
- Pet Care
 Postpartum services are provided hourly. Service is provided in 3-5 hour increments dependent on the travel distance. Service can be scheduled for 1-3 days a week, for 1-4 weeks. Overnight shifts are available for an additional fee in 6-8 hour increments.
Once Lesley has been hired for postpartum services and a contract is signed, a non-refundable deposit is made for your first 4 hours of service. This books your spot on Lesley's birth calendar.
Postpartum Services range from $25-$35 an hour based on travel distance and day or nighttime service.
